Introduction

Pursuing a meaningful goal is easier when you have the support of someone you trust. This exercise encourages you to reach out to a friend, mentor, or trusted individual to share your goal. By involving someone else, you can gain clarity, stay accountable, and benefit from their encouragement and advice.

This isn’t about relying on others for success—it’s about creating a positive connection that helps you stay motivated and on track.

Instructions

  1. Choose Someone to Share With
Think about who in your life might be a good source of support for your goal. This could be a friend, mentor, Rabbi, Rebbetzin, or someone who has already achieved something similar.

  2. Schedule a Conversation
Reach out to this person and set up a time to meet or talk, even if it’s just for 5-10 minutes. Share your goal with them, explain why it matters to you, and outline your next steps.

  3. Ask for Support
Let them know how they can support you—whether it’s offering advice, checking in periodically, or just being someone you can share progress with.

  4. Express Gratitude
Thank them for their time and willingness to help. A supportive relationship is built on mutual respect and appreciation.
