Q: What is an ElulTime Group?
A: An ElulTime Group is a small group of people—yourself and at least one other person—who commit to supporting each other through the 40 days from Elul to Yom Kippur while working through the exercises.
Having a support system makes it much easier to follow through, keeping you accountable and helping you make the coming year as good as it can be.
What Does Support Mean?
Support doesn’t mean you have to share personal details or deep secrets. It simply means:
✅ Encouraging each other.
✅ Keeping each other accountable.
✅ Reminding each other to stay on track.
How to Set Up Your ElulTime Group
📌 Step 1: Choose Your Group
- Brainstorm who you want in your group.
- Invite them to join.
📌 Step 2: Create a WhatsApp Group (or Similar)
- Set up a group chat for easy communication.
- Send an invite and explain the goal: “We’re here to support each other in doing the exercises that will help us prepare during Elul for the new year.”
📌 Step 3: Keep Each Other Accountable
🗓 Use a calendar to track progress.
💬 Check in regularly to see how everyone is doing.
👤 Appoint one or more people to check in and keep things moving.
📌 Step 4: Get Organized
📄 Make sure everyone has printed copies of the exercises and the calendar. (Or have one person print for the group.)
💪 Encourage each other to complete the exercises.
📞 Have someone with a “life-coach” mindset call group members to offer extra motivation and guidance.
The key is progress, not perfection—help each other make the most of this powerful time! 🚀
